The Sun Hotel is Bradford's longest serving gay pub and has been open for just over 14 years, serving the varied community of Bradford. The Pub is Mixed with both guys and girls of all ages (literally 18 - 80) who are all very friendly. The bar has recently undergone refurbishment, making it a lot lighter and cleaner but still keeping the traditional pubby feel.

The Pub features a centre bar with an open plan lounge and dance area, with a games and pool room situated at the back of the venue. The pub has a great little enclosed beer garden with piped music and ambient lighting. With happy hours daily serving very reasonably priced drinks.

The pub host top DJ's playing chart and cheesy tunes with regular drag showtime entertainment, with a very popular quiz night every Tuesday. The Sun is situated very close to the city centre, only a 1 minute walk from the ever popular Club Life, Bradford's premier gay nightclub. It's also only 5 minutes walk from the Interchange - Bradford's bus and rail station- and only 2 minutes walk from the famous Alhambra Theatre and the World renowned National Museum of Photography, Film and Television. Within half an hour you can be in beautiful countryside like Howarth, home of the Bronte Sisters, Last of the Summer Wine country and Harewood House, home of the Emmerdale film set.
